How to get involved...

The Sussex Not For Sale campaign is a democratic campaign run by students and staff to oppose undemocratic plans by senior management and to affect positive change to the university community as a whole. As such, transparency and inclusivity are very important to us. On this page you will all you need to know to get involved or comment on the campaign.

However, if all this seems intimidating or confusing to you, or if this page simply doesn't answer all your questions, contact us or just come along to one of our weekly meetings at 5pm every Thursday in Arts C133.

Sub-groups:

The sub-groups are the backbone of the campaign and hence the campaign encourages all of its members to be part of one of these sub-groups. Nonetheless, volunteers are always needed and the meetings are open to anybody. Feel free to come the meetings!

Research Group

The Research Group is generally delegated to gather information on specific topics and to prepare that information for public presentation. The latter is usually in the form of a public talk or feedback to the thursday meetings.

The Web Group maintains the Sussex Not 4 Sale website and the mailing lists. As such it is in charge of vital means of communications used by the campaign as a whole. We provide weekly feedback to the thursday meetings and are given broad mandates that we carry out during the following week.
